Enter obituary information here. Donald L. Robinson Sr., 78, of Natrona Heights (Harrison Township), died Saturday, July 2, 2016, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born July 7, 1937, in Brackenridge, he was a son of the late George and Hazel Robinson. He resided in Harrison Township most of his life. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Prior to his retirement in 1998, he worked as a laborer for Lampus Block in Springdale for 40 years. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Robinson enjoyed woodworking, bowling and puzzles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet B. Robinson, on March 21, 2016; two sisters and seven brothers. He is survived by a son, Donald L. Robinson Jr., of Freeport, and his fiancee, Kimberly Lang; a daughter, Amy Samarin, of Freeport, and her fiance, John 'Boatsie' Roush; three grandchildren, Mya, Kelsey and Heidi; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Cody; and a sister, Doris Lusk, of Warren, Pa. The family has requested that there be no public visitation and services will be private. Private family burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
