Marilyn J. Ridgeley, 94, of Cabot, formerly of Sarver, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. She was born Oct. 2, 1924, in Edinboro and lived most of her life in Sarver. Marilyn was a sales clerk for Macy's for 30 years and worked until she was 78. Prior to Macy's, she had worked as a telephone operator. She enjoyed sewing and was a member of First Baptist Church, Tarentum. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, John I. and Geneva (Culbertson) Zimmerman; her first husband, Paul Salata; her second husband, Bernie Ridgeley; and a brother, John Zimmerman. She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Kampersal (Rein), of Warwick, R.I.; a son, Mark Salata, of Harrison Township; three step-grandsons, Rein Jr., Greg and Alexander Kampersal; and two nieces, Geraldine Capellman and Beth Vogel (Jim). Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Walker. Marilyn will be laid to rest in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Harrison Township.
