LENA M. Morrison-Micholas

Lena M. Morrison-Micholas, 45, of Freeport, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, at St. Margaret's Hospital, Pittsburgh, after being ill for nine weeks, losing her battle to cancer. She was born Oct. 8, 1971, in Harrison Township, Allegheny County, daughter of the late Raymond Morrison and Wilma Slee. She lived in the area all of her life. She was a paralegal and enjoyed scrapbooking and cooking, loved spending time with kids, loved animals and cars. She was a great organizer. She is survived by four sons, Nathan Morrison, of Arnold, Seth Zieler, of Desert Hot Spring, Calif., Gabriel Morrison, of Harrison Township, and Justin Micholas, of Harrison Township; three daughters, Kathleen Micholas, of Arnold, Nicole Micholas, of Harrison Township, and Julie Micholas, of Harrison Township; one granddaughter, Isabelle Morrison; mother and stepfather, Wilma Slee Hartman and John Babyak, of Freeport; two sisters, Shelley Barrington, of Newport Ritchey, Fla., and Carrie Carrigan (Robert), of Harrison Township; aunt, Jackie Mazurek, of Tarentum; uncle, Christopher Mazurek (Jean), of Tarentum; and nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Morrison. Memorial contributions may be made to Lena Morrison Children Trust Fund, c/o Carrie Carrigan, 2506 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.
